Chemical Peels

Chemical Peels are used to treat:

  • Actinic Keratosis (precancer lesions)
  • Hyperpigmentation
  • Sun-damaged skin (age spots)
  • Dull or aging skin
  • Fine lines and wrinkles
  • Uneven skin tone and texture
  • Acne

Chemical peels are used to restore smooth texture and glow, even skin tone, and eliminate precancerous lesions, with little or no downtime.

Chemical peels have been used for many years to revitalize the skin.  A solution is applied to the skin and after a period of time, the solution is rinsed off.  The solution causes exfoliation of the damaged epidermis (outer layer of skin), leaving a smoother, healthier, radiant skin.

Chemical peels are used to treat areas of the face, neck, chest, back, hands, arms, and legs.

Treatments are performed weekly or every two weeks for optimum for six treatments.  After the induction phase, monthly treatments are recommended for maintenance.  Improvements continue over the course of the treatments. Each treatments last approximately 20 to 30 minutes.

Glycolic Acid Peels strength ranges from 20% to 70%.  Glycolic Acid peels improve discoloration, uneven tone and texture, fine wrinkles, acne, leaving the skin radiant and youthful.  Trichloroacetic Acid peels range in strength from 10% to 40%.  Trichloroacetic acid peels eliminates actinic damage, improves fine lines and wrinkles, and sun-damaged skin. During your free consultation, the appropriate strength will be determined.
